According to online reports, the company may host a Galaxy Unpacked event in January, 2025 where it may unveil new models globally. While Samsung is yet to officially announce the launch date of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the rumour mill has been abuzz with the expected launch date. According to online rumours, the company may host an event on January 22 where it may announce the new Galaxy S25 Ultra in India and other markets.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra debuted in India with a starting price of Rs 1,29,999 in January this year. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to carry a similar price tag, though the exact price will be officially announced by the company at the launch event.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features (expected)

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The smartphone may come equipped with new Galaxy AI features.

The handset is tipped to offer a 200MP rear camera with improved AI processing. The Galaxy S25 Ultra may have a 12MP ultra-wide camera and two telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom. The phone may offer 100x Space Zoom for clearer and more stable shots of distant objects.

On the display front, the phone may offer a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Similar to its predecessor, the handset may feature a titanium frame, sharper edges and thinner bezels.
